Marta McKay
Marta graduated from Milligan College, a Christian Liberal Arts school in East Tennessee with a BA in Psychology
and Christian Education. She has a Master's degree in Education with a major in Community Counseling from Georgia State
University in Atlanta, Ga. While in Atlanta, she attended the Psychological Studies Institute, a graduate program whose focus is the integration of psychology and theology. Marta has worked in a variety of settings: private counseling centers; outpatient treatment facilities; residential settings; inpatient hospital programs; and crisis intervention facilities.
Ms. McKay has over 20 years experience in chemical dependency assessment and treatment as well as experience in individual, family, and marital counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Counselor III in the state of Colorado. In 2003 and 2004 she received the Michael Lambert award for clinical excellence and superior psychotherapy
treatment outcomes.
